  30 groupdel \- Delete a group

  32 \fBgroupdel\fR \fIgroup\fR
  33 .SH DESCRIPTION
  34 The \fBgroupdel\fR command modifies the system account files, deleting
  35 all entries that refer to \fIgroup\fR.
  36 The named group must exist.

  38 You must manually check all filesystems to insure that no files remain
  39 with the named group as the file group ID.
  40 .SH CAVEATS
  41 You may not remove the primary group of any existing user.
  42 You must remove the user before you remove the group.
