  30 groupmod \- Modify a group
  31 .SH SYNOPSIS
  32 \fBgroupmod\fR [\fB-g\fI gid \fR[\fB-o\fR]] [\fB-n\fI group_name \fR]

  34 .SH DESCRIPTION
  35 The \fBgroupmod\fR command modifies the system account files to reflect
  36 the changes that are specified on the command line.
  37 The options which apply to the \fIgroupmod\fR command are
  38 .IP "\fB-g \fIgid\fR"
  39 The numerical value of the group's ID.
  40 This value must be unique, unless the \fB-o\fR option is used.
  41 The value must be non-negative.
  42 Values between 0 and 99 are typically reserved for system groups.
  43 Any files which the old group ID is the file group ID
  44 must have the file group ID changed manually.

  46 The name of the group will be changed from \fIgroup\fR to
  47 \fIgroup_name\fR.
