Cryptimage README ----------------- Generate RSA keys for use with cryptimage using: openssl genrsa -out xxx.pem 8000 (This generates a 8000bit key length). You can see the fine details of the key you generated using: openssl rsa -in xxx.pem -text -noout Now you simply run cryptimage using this key to produce a signed image: cryptimage -k xxx.pem -f image.bin Use the '-v' option so you get the cryptimage details. The image.bin file is signed in place. On the target you need to flash the public key in place. Generate the public key from you RSA private key, xxx.pem, using: openssl rsa -in xxx.pem -pubout > xxx.pub To put this public key into flash on the target use the flashkey tool: flashkey -k xxx.pub
