Avoid leaking file descriptors when returning drop box events.

We can't use Parcel.writeValue() to write the ParcelFileDescriptor, otherwise
it leaks when returning the value to the caller (the flag gets lost).  Change
the way DropBoxManager.Entry gets serialized so that it uses a bit of its own
flags value to track whether the data is a byte[] or a ParcelFileDescriptor.

Modify the dropbox unit test to add extensive checking of Entry serialization
and deserialization under various circumstances, and to include a regression
test to ensure that FD leaking doesn't happen.

Html mms message support was added back in Jan '10. At that time, we
had moved the mms code out of the framework into the mms app. We decided
to back out that change and leave the mms code in its original place.
As a result, the changes to support html messages were lost. This
handmerged CL restores those changes. I'll cherry-pick this into master
as well. Bug 2858888

Added support for auxiliary audio effects to AudioTrack and MediaPlayer.

Added methods to AudioTrack and MediaPlayer java classes to enable use of
auxiliary audio effects. The effect can be attached and detached by specifying its
ID and the send level controlled.

Audio policy manager changes for audio effects

Added methods for audio effects management by audio policy manager.
- control of total CPU load and memory used by effect engines
- selection of output stream for global effects
- added audio session id in parameter list for startOutput() and stopOutput().
this is not used in default audio policy manager implementation.

Modifications of audio effect framework in AudioFlinger to allow moving and reconfiguring
effect engines from one output mixer thread to another when audio tracks in the same session
are moved or when requested by audio policy manager.
Also fixed mutex deadlock problem with effect chains locks.

Support a single format change at the beginning of audio playback. This way the AAC+ decoder may change its output format from what is originally encoded in the audio stream and we'll still play it back correctly.

Fix the layoutlib Paint.set(Paint) method. Do not merge.

It would change the text rendering info but not recompute
the Java Font objects. The effect is a broken font rendering
in the EditText (which use this method to copy some Paint
object before using the copy for the actual drawing)

Fixed problems in audio effect volume control.

Fixed the following problems in audio effect volume control in AudioFlinger:
- Make sure that the volumes returned by EffectChain::setVolume_l() are correct even is
no change is detected since last call
- Do not use isEnabled() to validate volume control but mState >= ACTIVE instead as the volume control
must be also active in STOPPING and STOPPED states.

First submission of audio effect library from NXP software.

This CL contains the first open sourceable version of the audio effect library from NXP software.
The effects implemented are:
- Bass boost
- Virtualizer (stereo widening)
- Equalizer
- Spectrum analyzer

Source file for the effect engines are located under libeffects/lvm/lib
The wrapper implementing the interface with the audio effect framework in under libeffects/lvm/wrapper

The code of other effect libraries has also been reorganized fo clarity:
- the effect factory is now under libeffects/factory
- the test equalizer and reverb effects are under libeffect/testlibs
- the visualizer is under libeffects/virtualizer

Don't throw an exception from isProviderEnabled and getLastKnownLocation

if the location provider does not exist.  Instead use the same behavior
as if the provider were disabled in settings
(return false for isProviderEnabled and null from getLastKnownLocation).
This eliminates for a lot of exception handling around some simple
queries to the location manager.

Ignore attempts to finish events on unregistered channels.

This is a common race that happens during application shutdown where the window
may be removed before the input event is finished.  The input dispatcher
already recovers from this condition gracefully so there are no benefits to
throwing an exception on the client side.

Re-use existing Surface objects when reading them from parcels.

This change adds a process-global cache of previously deserialized Surface
objects so that if a Surface object wrapping the same ISurface gets received
again the same Surface can be used.  This is important because the 'tail'
pointer in the SharedBufferClient is stored only on the client side, and needs
to be the same for all the Surface objects wrapping an ISurface instance.  This
solves the problem by making there only be one Surface object wrapping an
ISurface per process.

Implement native key pre-dispatching to IMEs.

This significantly re-works the native key dispatching code to
allow events to be pre-dispatched to the current IME before
being processed by native code.  It introduces one new public
API, which must be called after retrieving an event if the app
wishes for it to be pre-dispatched.

Currently the native code will only do pre-dispatching of
system keys, to avoid significant overhead for gaming input.
This should be improved to be smarted, filtering for only
keys that the IME is interested in.  Unfortunately IMEs don't
currently provide this information. :p

Added several new coordinate values to MotionEvents to capture
touch major/minor area, tool major/minor area and orientation.

Renamed NDK input constants per convention.

Added InputDevice class in Java which will eventually provide
useful information about available input devices.

Added APIs for manufacturing new MotionEvent objects with multiple
pointers and all necessary coordinate data.

Fixed a bug in the input dispatcher where it could get stuck with
a pointer down forever.

Fixed a bug in the WindowManager where the input window list could
end up containing stale removed windows.

Fixed a bug in the WindowManager where the input channel was being
removed only after the final animation transition had taken place
which caused spurious WINDOW DIED log messages to be printed.

StrictMode: avoid an allocation in common case

StrictMode: gather and return violating stacks in Binder replies

Now, when Thread A has a strict mode policy in effect and does a
Binder call to Thread B (most likely in another process), the strict
mode policy is passed along, but with the GATHER penalty bit set which
overrides other policies and instead gathers all offending stack
traces to a threadlocal which are then written back in the Parcel's
reply header.

Several improvements in audio effects volume control.

- Fixed crash when deleting an effect chained before an effect having volume control
- Changed EFFECT_FLAG_VOLUME_CTRL to implicitely include EFFECT_FLAG_VOLUME_IND
(not need to set both in effect descriptor).
- Volume control changes from one effect to another if needed according to effect enable state
- EFFECT_CMD_SET_VOLUME is only sent when their is an actual change in volume
