Use interfaceDescriptor instead of interfaceChain
wherever suits. Sementically, interfaceDescriptor
returns the first element of interfaceChain; use
interfaceDescriptor when the rest of the elements
aren't used.

Add a summary (-s) option for easier parseability.
Add a summary (-s) option that dumps out the metrics from the run
on one single line for easier parseability. Requested by Shankhoneer
for easier integration of ioshark into tradefed.
Test: Test the new -s option (and combination with other options)
to make sure everything continues to work.

Query for device and then set the blockdev name.
IOshark uses /proc/diskstats to get various stats. It needs a
block device name for doing this. The block device was hardcoded
as sda (Marlin/Sailfish). Query the device productname and use
this to set the block device name instead. Needed to make IOshark
work on non-M/S device.
Test: Testing the change on marlin as well as bullhead (which
covers Sailfish, Shamu and Angler as well).

simpleperf: build cts test running in app context.
When built for cts test, the test binary uses run-as to move itself
to the data directory of debuggable app 'com.android.simpleperf',
and run the tests in app context using run-as.

Add a build target for bootloader tests
Since the .py files don't need to be built, they can be packaged
as-is. We can use a PHONY_PACKAGE with the source files set as
the target's LOCAL_PICKUP_FILES to make them accessible to
packaging targets like google_tests.

simpleperf: build libsimpleperf_inplace_sampler library.
libsimpleperf_inplace_sampler.so is a library linked with
user's app. It opens a unix socket server and waits for
simpleperf's profiling request. This patch doesn't contain
code generating real samples, instead it uses a fake sample
for testing.
Add runtest for 32bit. Increase runtest duration to 2 seconds
and adjust some args in runtest.conf to make test result stable.
Fix one tiny error in cmd_report.cpp to report correctly
in `report --sort comm,symbol`.

ext4_utils: allow specifying HEH filenames encryption
Make the ext4_utils changes needed to support specifying aes-256-heh
filenames encryption. The previous mode, aes-256-cts, remains supported
as well.
The file /data/unencrypted/mode is updated to have the syntax
contents_encryption_mode[:filenames_encryption_mode] instead of just
contents_encryption_mode. This is consistent with the new fstab syntax.

ext4_utils: allow passing flash block sizes to make_ext4fs_sparse functions
Add versions of make_ext4fs_sparse_fd() and
make_ext4fs_sparse_fd_directory() that accept flash erase & logical
block size as arguments. Refactor to avoid copied code in the new
aligned versions of each function.
Test: Pass block sizes to new functions using fastboot -w and check
that the new userdata has the correct stride and stripe-width values.

simpleperf: add inplace-sampler event type.
Add inplace-sampler event type, so it can be used in
record/list command. This cl doesn't add code for communicating
with profiled process, and fake records in InplaceSamplerClient.cpp
for testing purpose.
Refactor runtest.py to test inplace-sampler profiling.

Add permission bits to open with O_CREAT.
It's an error to pass open O_CREAT without giving it mode bits:

Given that we never seem to do anything with the file but delete it,
0600 seems fine.

Use TotalTime instead of ThisTime as app launch latency metric
Use TotalTime instead of ThisTime (both reported by am) as our
activity launch latency metric. TotalTime is more representative
of user perceived latency. Also add back YouTube to the list of
apps we launch test by default.
Test: Time app launches manually for the various apps, and check
that TotalTime better represents the launch latency.

app-launcher is a App Launch Perf Analysis tool.
app-launcher is an automated tool that automates the launching of
selected Apps (hundreds of times each) and collects system metrics
like CPU util, storage device util, launch times, context switches,
branch mispredicts etc. This is very useful for A/B compares of system
changes in how they impact App Launch. This code was under
google_experimental and was used by various members who found it very
useful, so moving it under system/extras (under userdebug).
Test: I (and others) have used app launcher on multiple occasions over
several months. And comparison of metrics reported by app-launcher are
consistent with metrics reported by other tools, for these tests.
