Handle restricted permissions for shared UID components - framework

We set the app op for a restricted permission to allow if the app
requesting the permission is whitelisted and to deny if the app requesting
the permission is not whitelisted. However, there is another case where an
app in a shared user can access a component in another app in the same shared
user due to being in the same shared user and not by having the permission
that guards the component form the rest of the world. We need to handle this.
The way we do this is by setting app ops corresponding to non requested
restricted permissions to allow as this would allow the shared uid access
case and be okay for other apps as they would not have the permission and
would fail on the permission checks before reaching the app op check.

Split VOLUME_EXTERNAL and VOLUME_PRIMARY.

To let developers focus on specific concrete storage devices in Q,
we need a volume name that can be used to point at the primary
external storage device.  We had been using VOLUME_EXTERNAL for that,
but we've heard that certain apps are making deep assumptions that
media item IDs are globally unique across all volumes.

Thus these changes merge all volumes back into a single underlying
database, and VOLUME_EXTERNAL works with all of the currently
attached volumes.  The new VOLUME_PRIMARY name can be used to focus
on the primary storage device when desired.

When developers try inserting items directly into VOLUME_EXTERNAL,
we gracefully assume they meant VOLUME_PRIMARY.

Enforce NETWORK_STACK permission for calling NSS#forceUpdateIfaces

ConnectivityManager and its usages are removed from
NetworkStatsService. After that, forceUpdateIfaces requires
information that only ConnectivityService has, hence
restricting the calling permission to NETWORK_STACK or
MAINLINE_NETWORK_STACK permission. The required permission
will be changed from READ_NETWORK_USAGE_HISTORY to
NETWORK_STACK or MAINLINE_NETWORK_STACK. This change would make
it impossible to call outside the system.

Avoid exception from 'adb shell ime enable/disable'

This is a preparation to introduce CTS for per-profile IME.

Currently
  adb shell ime enable <ime id>
and
  adb shell ime disable <ime id>
can throw IllegalArgumentException when <ime id> is not recognized by
the system.  This makes some sense, but if we start supporting
'-u all' option it'd make more sense if it just shows an error message
rather than letting the command crash with throing an exception.

This behavior change also removes a limitation that developers cannot
use
  adb shell ime disable <ime id>
command to remove an IME ID from Settings.Secure.ENABLED_INPUT_METHODS
if that IME is not currently installed.

Guard against creating too many MobileSignalControllers

The PhoneStateListener that got added to NetworkControllerImpl used the
default (main) looper for its callbacks, which caused race conditions
when updating subscriptions. This resulted in zombie
MobileSignalControllers that were untracked and never stopped listening
for their updates.

To fix the problem we put the phone state listener on the same
background thread as the receiver handler, and also lock around updating
the subscriptions so that we can all have peace of mind.

This should fix a host of issues where the mobile signal is incorrectly
showing state such as disconnected or not showing the data type
indicator.

Fix Launcher crash while handling top resumed state

The process of current top resumed activity was killed. Before getting
the callbacks from binder death recipient, the process was being restarted
while bringing up other non-UI components - such as sending broadcast.
Since the top resumed activity was not being updated, ATM had to schedule
to the client for dropping the top resumed state after process bound.
So, exceptions thrown because it was illegal to drop the top resumed state
for a fresh client.

Check if necessary to update top resumed activity whenever the stack resumed
activity changes.

Remove overlay logic from package manager and parser

Consolidate all knowledge about overlays to the overlay manager (except
static RROs that target "android": these are handled from native code in
order to be loaded as part of Zygote boot).

This removes the ability to overlay AndroidManifest.xml. There are some
use-cases where overlaying a manifest makes sense [e.g. changing an
app's label or icon or what components should be enabled by default] but
the opposite is also true [e.g. permissions]. Support for manifests can
be introduced again gradually with these goals in mind:

  - should not happen during parsing [which represents the immutable
    truth as read from disk]

  - should happen during scanning [which applies mutable settings to a
    parsed package]

  - be limited in what can be modified

To create a zoom effect on rendered DNG such that all pixels on
the rendered image is sampled within the precorrection array of
input RAW image.

Test: check DNG output on pixel 3 (and also an exaggerated lens
      distortion coefficients that scale up the image almost 2x)

Fix remove-before-add for IpSecService RefcountedResource

This patch fixes a bug where if a binder dies before the linkToDeath
call, the cleanup will be performed before the entry is added to the
array. While it is safe in that quotas and tracking performs as per
normal, the RefcountedRecord may not be cleaned up.

Rethrowing this exception is safe, since the only paths that would hit
this are all on binder threads coming from applications. Further, it
seems there is only one real way of this getting hit - if the app that
called the creation died during the binder call.
