From 3b2da547e92c66fe83fc40b4a43eccb2fc1416fc Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Peter Eisentraut Date: Fri, 21 Jul 2006 22:37:37 +0000 Subject: [PATCH] For automatic dependency tracking, replace our sed hackery with the GCC- -built-in mechanism through the -MP flag. Adjust the file extensions to look more like Automake practice. This frees up the .d suffix for use by DTrace. --- src/Makefile.global.in | 32 +++++--------------------------- 1 file changed, 5 insertions(+), 27 deletions(-) diff --git a/src/Makefile.global.in b/src/Makefile.global.in index c8b5018e4d..70c82bd314 100644 --- a/src/Makefile.global.in +++ b/src/Makefile.global.in @@ -1,5 +1,5 @@ # -*-makefile-*- -# $PostgreSQL: pgsql/src/Makefile.global.in,v 1.223 2006/07/20 09:30:18 petere Exp $ +# $PostgreSQL: pgsql/src/Makefile.global.in,v 1.224 2006/07/21 22:37:37 petere Exp $ #------------------------------------------------------------------------------ # All PostgreSQL makefiles include this file and use the variables it sets, @@ -511,17 +511,6 @@ install-strip: # Next time we invoke make we will have top-notch information about # whether this file needs to be updated.
