From dd04df0ec33a903ee7fc747701bafde622f77d8b Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Reid Spencer Date: Thu, 7 Jul 2005 23:21:43 +0000 Subject: [PATCH] For PR495: Get rid of the difference between file paths and directory paths. The Path class now simply stores a path that can refer to either a file or a directory. This required various changes in the implementation and interface of the class with the corresponding impact to its users. Doxygen comments were also updated to reflect these changes. Interface changes are: appendDirectory -> appendComponent appendFile -> appendComponent elideDirectory -> eraseComponent elideFile -> eraseComponent elideSuffix -> eraseSuffix renameFile -> rename setDirectory -> set setFile -> set Changes pass Dejagnu and llvm-test/SingleSource tests. git-svn-id: https://llvm.org/svn/llvm-project/llvm/trunk@22349 91177308-0d34-0410-b5e6-96231b3b80d8 --- include/llvm/Support/FileUtilities.h | 2 +- include/llvm/System/Path.h | 152 +++++++++--------------- lib/Archive/ArchiveReader.cpp | 2 +- lib/Archive/ArchiveWriter.cpp | 6 +- lib/Bytecode/Archive/ArchiveReader.cpp | 2 +- lib/Bytecode/Archive/ArchiveWriter.cpp | 6 +- lib/Debugger/ProgramInfo.cpp | 4 +- lib/Linker/LinkModules.cpp | 2 +- lib/Linker/Linker.cpp | 42 ++++--- lib/Support/SystemUtils.cpp | 4 +- lib/Support/ToolRunner.cpp | 6 +- lib/System/Path.cpp | 6 +- lib/System/Unix/Path.inc | 209 +++++++++++++-------------------- lib/System/Unix/Program.inc | 6 +- lib/System/Unix/Signals.inc | 2 +- lib/System/Win32/Path.inc | 10 +- tools/bugpoint/CrashDebugger.cpp | 4 +- tools/bugpoint/ExecutionDriver.cpp | 11 +- tools/bugpoint/Miscompilation.cpp | 10 +- tools/bugpoint/OptimizerDriver.cpp | 4 +- tools/bugpoint/ToolRunner.cpp | 6 +- tools/gccld/GenerateCode.cpp | 14 +-- tools/gccld/gccld.cpp | 8 +- tools/llvm-ar/llvm-ar.cpp | 6 +- tools/llvm-ld/llvm-ld.cpp | 4 +- tools/llvm-link/llvm-link.cpp | 2 +- tools/llvm-ranlib/llvm-ranlib.cpp | 2 +- tools/llvmc/CompilerDriver.cpp | 30 ++--- tools/llvmc/Configuration.cpp | 18 +-- 29 files changed, 249 insertions(+), 331 deletions(-) diff --git a/include/llvm/Support/FileUtilities.h b/include/llvm/Support/FileUtilities.h index 6712c325763..6e801124780 100644 --- a/include/llvm/Support/FileUtilities.h +++ b/include/llvm/Support/FileUtilities.h @@ -45,7 +45,7 @@ namespace llvm { ~FileRemover() { if (DeleteIt) try { - Filename.destroyFile(); + Filename.destroy(); } catch (...) {} // Ignore problems deleting the file. } diff --git a/include/llvm/System/Path.h b/include/llvm/System/Path.h index 04c0a2b3d2e..e99ad47f1b6 100644 --- a/include/llvm/System/Path.h +++ b/include/llvm/System/Path.h @@ -219,24 +219,22 @@ namespace sys { bool isValid() const; /// This function determines if the contents of the path name are - /// empty.
