  32 A repertoire map defines mappings between symbolic character names and
  33 Unicode code points when compiling a locale with \fBlocaledef\fP(1).  Using a
  34 repertoire map is optional, it is only needed when symbolic names are used
  35 instead of now preferred Unicode code points.
